  1. I really like the Hot Topic merchandise that I’ve seen so far, I think it has a good shadowhunter vibe but I also think they could include some of the tshirts that Simon has used with the witty phrases, or make a Simon-ish tshirt with an actual quote from Simon in CoB as if it was one of his tshirts. Not to mention that if there’s a book-to-movie adaptation with potential for make up or nail polish, it’s this one. I don’t know you, but I would give anything for a Magnus Bane themed palette or nail polish set.
The chat was great, I wonder which future hints we’ll get about Magnus’ father, after what Sarah mentioned.

  2. All the clothing is awesome. I especially like the Red Bubble Shirts. Especially the one with “never trust a duck” on it. I also agree with Luly–a Simon shirt would be awesome.
As for the Bane Chronicles chat, I didn’t get to go live, but someone linked me to a recap of it on some website and it looked awesome. (I need a new adjective. I’ve used “awesome” so many times it sounds like a nonsensical word.) The authors were funny and informative. I thought it was cool that they sounded like real people. Some authors seem distant and mythical, like they exist in some other reality that is far superior and more awesome (there I go again…) than our own, and are giving us a tremendous gift by even using twitter. (Which seems to be true. Cassandra Clare, JK Rowling, and Suzanne Collins are so gifted they MUST have came from a realm that is more awesome than our own.)
Yet despite Cassandra Clare’s awesomeness (seriously, I’m even annoying myself with that repeated word) she seemed like a normal person who actually exists somewhere and has a sense of humor. She is awesome.
I realized this comment makes very little sense, so I shall stop typing now before I make myself seem like a complete weirdo, or make your mind explode from over-use of the word “awesome.”
